Angelina Jolie is accusing Brad Pitt of alleged abuse, as the family continues to crumble. It was previously reported that Angelina Jolie presented some documents for the trial, where she claims to be willing to offer more evidence, like testifying against Pitt and bringing in the children to testify too and confirm the events. She claims that she and the children experienced violence at his hands. As such, the actress wants to prevent Pitt from having 50% of the children’s custody.
Before this, the 57-year-old actor had never been accused of violence during his marriage to Jolie, but there was an incident involving their son, Maddox. It is believed that the then 15-year-old stood between his parents to prevent a bigger argument. This made Pitt even angrier and led to him assaulting Maddox. Now, Maddox would like to remove Pitt’s last name and retain only Jolie.
According to Us Weekly, Jolie agrees with Maddox’s decision. Brad Pitt and Maddox’s relationship has degenerated so much that his son is already using only his mother’s last name.
As of right now, there are no statements from Brad Pitt, and the only thing that his spokesperson has said is that he is “devastated” that Jolie has taken this road.
