The Biggest Loser in History?! ‘Better Call Saul’ Breaks Record With 0 Emmy Wins

The failure of Better Call Saul at the 2024 Emmys

53 Nominations, Not One Award: This Is How Better Call Saul Did at the 2024 Emmys

On the night of January 15, 2024, the 75th edition of the Emmy Awards was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and it was full of celebrities, great outfits, good comedy, and tributes to actors and series that have marked the history of television. However, there was what many fans call an injustice, and that is that the series Better Call Saul, a spin-off of the acclaimed Breaking Bad, after 53 nominations over 8 years, did not win any Emmys at all.

There was outrage among fans, but some others claimed that, although it was a good series at the time, it was nothing spectacular and by the simple fact of being a spin-off it was obvious that it would not win anything. Some call it a defeat, but I think that with the simple fact of being a memorable series for its fans, it has already won, and it does not need approval from an academy to be spectacular on its own.

On X, some people even say that the Emmys are rigged, which should not surprise anyone that an Academy Awards show irregularities, but they claim that the fact that season 8 of Game of Thrones won the Emmys and not Better Call Saul It is clear proof of this. *surprised* :o. Anyway, some claim that the awards are arranged according to the platform where they are broadcast, and well, it may not be a coincidence that a certain series that airs on HBO won in most categories… cough, cough, Succession It’s a good series and no one should debate that ;).

All Better Call Saul fans right now:

Some others lament that actress Rhea Seehorn didn’t win, even though we all love Jennifer Coolidge, it would have been nice to see Rhea as a winner. Let’s hope to see her with awards even if it’s with another series :c

But remember, an award does not define the value of a series, the important thing is how much the public enjoys it.
