The Golden Globes announced tonight its list of winners in an atypical edition that did not feature a live broadcast ceremony, a red carpet, and much less the presence of international stars. This situation is not particularly due to the covid-19 pandemic that still hits the world, but rather to a boycott by the great Hollywood figures in the face of the scandal over the lack of inclusion of people of color among the nominations and the people who vote for the awards, and the controversy over cases of corruption in past editions.
Given this, the boycotted Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) celebrated this Sunday the 79th edition of its awards, which will go down in history as the least memorable one.
The winners were revealed through the official Golden Globes website and social media; top winners include the likes of Andrew Garfield, Kate Winslet, and O-Yeong-su.
