It seems that our beloved film director Guillermo del Toro found the love again and secretly married screenwriter Kim Morgan, according to close sources.
The news broke after the couple appeared together at LACMA’s Gala last week and the Mexican film director and producer presented Kim as his wife.
According to Marc Malkin, a Variety’s columnist, the couple married six months ago, but it never came public until now.
Neither Guillermo nor Kim have confirmed or denied the news.
Who is Kim Morgan?
Kim is a screenwriter and film critic who has written for Criterion, Playboy, and The Los Angeles Review of Books.
She worked with del Toro on the script for his upcoming movie Nightmare Alley.
Kim and del Toro first appeared together in 2017 when both attended together The Oscar’s ceremony. Back then, the Mexican filmmaker said that they had a good friendship.
Kim has posted on Instagram a couple of pictures with the director but is unclear when did their relationship started.
Is Guillermo’s second marriage
Guillermo announced in 2017 that his marriage with Lorenza Newton, artistic director and with whom he was married for 20 years, was over. They had two daughters, Marisa and Mariana del Toro.
