Halle Bailey’s Ariel Is Now an Official Princess at Disney Parks

Despite all the hate and doubts, Halle Bailey proved to be the best choice to portray the iconic Little Mermaid. As the debut weekend has proven, The Little Mermaid‘s live-action adaptation has surpassed expectations, and many are even considering it the best Disney live-action.

To make it more clear that Halle Bailey’s Ariel has come to stay, Disney has now introduced her as one of the official princesses at their parks and fans have been showing their support in her debut. Our new Ariel is now making special performances and meet and greets at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Disneyland Paris.

Besides the presentations of the new Ariel, several Disney Parks are offering a great variety of treats and merch inspired by the new live-action of The Little Mermaid. Fans can also take great pics at the photo ops available to submerge themselves in an adventure under the sea.

Fans on social media have been sharing images of Ariel’s new debut, and we’re loving the reception she’s been having. This proves, not only that the bet Disney made for this particular live-action was both bold and right, but also that representation does matter, and that now hundreds of girls will be able to meet a princess they feel closer to them.
