
With Dumbo, Aladdin, and The Lion King, Disney is definitely aiming not only at a large children’s audience, but also a higher number of millennials who keep these stories and their characters close to their hearts. As we all know, nobody cares about how the younger generations feel about the movie: it’s all about meeting our super high expectations. So, with that in mind, the real question here is, will it live up to the original?
Before today, we had already seen a really touching recreation of the “Circle of Life” opening with the amazing James Earl Jones narrating and some sneak peeks of the characters. However, this final trailer has finally shown us how all our favorite characters will look on the live-action (no, I won’t enter this absurd discussion) film.

All in all, I do think the cast is impressive. I think what gives the film the gold stamp is having people like Beyoncé, Donald Glover, and James Earl Jones. I mean, do you think Queen Bey would agree to do something that’s not up to her level? So, without further ado, here’s the new crew in the savannah.
