‘The Simpsons’ Predicted the Disappearance of the Titan Submarine 17 Years Ago

simpson predijeron desaparicion submarino titan - 'The Simpsons' Predicted the Disappearance of the Titan Submarine 17 Years Ago

The Simpsons did it again, and we are not surprised, since it seems that the scriptwriters are the ones in charge of writing everything that happens in the world, including the disappearance of the Titan submarine.

The most beloved yellow family on television has a chapter about a mission that Homer undertakes, in which he goes down in a submarine to the bottom of the sea to find the remains of a ship suddenly, communication was lost, and the oxygen was running out. Does the story sound familiar?

The most surprising thing is that the chapter was not made thinking about the tragedy that began on June 19, 2023, this one came out 17 years ago, and we no longer know what to think. It is episode 10 of season 17.

There are some theories suggesting that the creators of The Simpsons have a pact with the devil, or some supernatural power, because how else could they predict the future?

It is not the first time that The Simpsons, who have done and been everything, hit some event that marks the history of the world with any of its chapters, and what is striking is that many of what fans consider ‘predictions’ have to do with tragedies.

What Happened to the Titan Submarine?

On June 19, 2023, a tragedy marked the world. It became known that the Titan submarine, with five passengers on board, to meet the remains of the Titanic, is missing. After several days of searching, specialists determined that the 96-hour mark of oxygen available to the crew had already passed, and we can now assume that the worst had happened. Experts changed the mission from ‘rescue’ to ‘body recovery.’

Some experts have said that one possibility is that it may have imploded or become trapped within the walls of the Titanic and thus difficult or nearly impossible to find them. The Titan submarine is capable of descending to a depth of 4,000 meters, and the Titanic is at 3,800 meters.
