The First Family of Cool is expanding—again. Just days after Rihanna stunned on the Met Gala carpet with her third pregnancy reveal, ASAP Rocky added to the buzz by teasing the name of baby number three. The couple’s third child will “for sure” have a name starting with an “R,” Rocky confirmed during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
It’s a fitting tradition for the Rakim-Robyn dynasty. The couple’s first two sons, RZA (who turns 3 this week) and Riot Rose (1), already carry names with meaning, power, and attitude. And while Rocky didn’t drop the exact name, he’s made it clear: the ‘R’ streak is staying strong.

But What About Baby A$AP Joe?
While the world is speculating whether baby number three will be named Rapture, Reign, or Rogue, one man is likely hoping for something more… personal. Enter: Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina.
The rapper’s legal team recently helped him beat two felony assault charges in a 2021 firearm case. According to Tacopina, the grateful couple once joked that their next child would be named after him.
“They grabbed me and they said, ‘Listen, our next baby A$AP Joe,’” he told Extra earlier this year. “I said, ‘I’m gonna hold you to that!’”
Rocky hasn’t confirmed or denied whether Joe is still in the running—but unless it’s Romeo Joe, things aren’t looking promising.

Rihanna’s Doing Fine—And So Is Her Voice
While Rocky is handling the baby name PR circuit, Rihanna is keeping it cool and calm during her third pregnancy. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 9-time Grammy winner said she’s “shockingly feeling OK” and only “kind of tired.” Still, don’t expect another album delay—at least not officially.
Asked if baby number three means another pushback for her long-anticipated ninth studio album, Rihanna gave fans a hopeful update:
“Maybe a couple videos,” she said. “But I can sing.”
Translation: don’t hold your breath, but also don’t give up hope.

The House of R Grows
With RZA and Riot already making toddler waves in designer drip, Baby R No. 3 is about to enter one of pop culture’s most iconic households. The name is still a mystery—but one thing’s certain: it’ll be stylish, intentional, and undeniably on-brand. Whether it’s regal, rebellious, or a nod to someone special (sorry, Joe), the world will be watching—and refreshing Instagram.
