The most unthinkable mashup became true thanks to a Mexican musician that mixed traditional mariachi music with Adele’s hit “Easy on Me” that will give you chills.
Ángel Ortiz, a Mexican musician, and mariachi decided to explore how Adele would sound if she sang along with the traditional sound.
Instead of only translating the lyrics to Spanish, Angel made classical mariachi arrangements with violins, trumpets, and guitars to blend in with Adele’s extraordinary vocals that some might find familiar with “Amor Eterno”.

Ángel posted the song to his TikTok and Instagram account to share the incredible result: a captivating hybrid melody.
For this experiment, Ortiz records himself separately: strings, guitar, and backup voices and then mixes them with the original track to make an outstanding ensemble.
But Adele hasn’t been the only artist he has blended with mariachi. In his Instagram account, you can find his very Mexican version of Billie Eilish’s “Happier than ever” and even the Dragon Ball’s theme song.
Definitely, this is how mariachi should sound now and get rid of all those misogynistic songs our parents used to know.
