Cards Against Humanity is Suing Elon Musk SpaceX for ‘Racist’ Trespassing

Elon Musk SpaceX sued by Cards Against Humanity

A crossover we didn’t saw coming… the makers of the popular adult party game Cards Against Humanity have filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk’s space exploration company, SpaceX. The lawsuit, filed in a Texas court, accuses SpaceX of trespassing on and damaging land that Cards Against Humanity purchased in 2017.

In 2017, Cards Against Humanity bought a plot of land on the U.S.-Mexico border as part of a campaign to obstruct then-President Donald Trump’s plan to build a border wall.

“7 years ago, we bought a plot of land on the US-Mexico border to stop racist billionaire Donald Trump’s dumb wall,” CAH stated on social media.

The company, known for its politically incorrect humor, crowdfunded the purchase, with 150,000 people contributing $15 each. The land was intended to remain untouched, symbolizing resistance against the wall.

“Unfortunately, an even richer, more racist billionaire⸺Elon Musk⸺snuck up on us from behind and completely fucked that land with gravel, tractors, and space garbage.”

According to the lawsuit, SpaceX has been using the land without permission for about six months. The company alleges that SpaceX has cleared vegetation, parked vehicles, stored gravel, and run generators on the property.

Cards Against Humanity claims that this unauthorized use has not only destroyed the natural condition of the land but also damaged its relationship with its supporters.

The lawsuit seeks $15 million in compensation for the damages caused by SpaceX4. Cards Against Humanity’s lawyer, Kenneth McKay, filed the lawsuit, emphasizing that the intrusion is particularly offensive given Elon Musk’s public support for Donald Trump and his controversial policies.

SpaceX has not yet publicly commented on the lawsuit. However, Cards Against Humanity has stated that SpaceX made a lowball offer to buy the land for less than half its value, which the company rejected.

The game maker has also humorously suggested that it would accept Twitter.com as compensation, referring to the social media platform Musk acquired in 2022 and renamed X.
