Everything You Need to Know About X, the New Twitter Image

Surely this morning you woke up with your Twitter account being an X; it's not a mistake; it's just Elon Musk's settings.

Twitter X

Twitter has stopped being what we always saw to become X, leaving behind the little blue bird that accompanied us for many years. Surely this morning you saw that your Twitter account became an X; it’s not a mistake, it’s just Elon Musk’s adjustments.

Those of us old-schoolers have been quite surprised, so we leave you a guide with what you should know about the (not-so-small) changes in one of our favorite social networks.

Goodbye Blue Birdie, Hello X

It was Elon Musk himself who revealed that the logo of the social network would have some changes, to create a ‘super app’ with a new vision for all users. “Soon we will say goodbye to the Twitter brand and, gradually, to all the birds,” said the owner of the platform.

Today it is already a reality, and the new logo is a white X on a black background. Now the company is called X Corp, and even the entrepreneur considers that the change should have been made a long time ago.

Will We No Longer Say “Tweet?”

No. Tweets, or trills as they were also known, will be replaced, and posts will now be referred to as “x’s.” The billionaire has already updated his profile picture with the new logo and added ‘X.com’ to his Twitter bio…, Twitter?

The Changes So Far

Musk confirmed that web users now have limits on the number of daily tweets that can be viewed. Originally they were distributed in this way:

Obviously, this news upset users a lot, and Elon Musk decided to extend the reading limits.

So far, it is not known why Musk put these control measures; however, they are temporary limits that at any time will be removed from the social network.

Another of X’s new rules is that unregistered users are completely blocked from reading content coming from the social network because, according to the entrepreneur, hundreds of organizations are aggressively mining Twitter data to the point of affecting the actual user experience.

X’s Competition

The series of changes in Twitter has caused certain competitors to take advantage to launch new social networks and compensate for the failures of the previous one, a clear example is Threads.

Do you like the new look of Twitter… well, rather, X?
