Although Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s relationship seems to be going slowly on the right track, things rumors and attitudes around them might be a little too intense. Also, it seems that some people aren’t precisely happy about this romance, one of them is Kelce’s ex, Maya Benberry.
Just a few days ago, the coach revealed to the Daily Mail that his former boo, Travis Kelce, was a cheater and advised Taylor to be careful with him. “Once a cheater, always a cheater,” Banberry said, and although fans of the couple dismissed her advice and said she was just jealous and wanted to gain some clout, some people saw this as a sister’s advice for Taylor.
Maya Banberry’s Shady Move
Things have changed now, and Maya Banberry’s latest move on social might’ve proven the first theory right. After her explosive reveal, her social media has been full of comments and opinions. Banberry decided to like one particular post that read “Taylor Swift is a 5,” and naturally, Swifties didn’t like that.
She got immediate backlash and eventually deleted the comment she had liked. However, things didn’t stop there, Maya decided to talk about the matter. “I don’t hate Taylor nor am I bitter. I got asked about my relationship and spoke on it because I can.”
Although Maya stood by her words and repeated that Travis Kelce was a cheater, she did deny that she agreed with the shady comment. “I don’t think that Taylor is a 5. The initial comment was someone complimenting me so I liked it without even paying attention just like I do every other comment on my page,” Banberry explained. “But once I caught wind that it was shade. I deleted the comment entirely.”
The personal coach even took some time to pay Taylor some compliments adding that she’s “basically a billionaire and a boss. There is no need to hate nor have I or will I. Like I said in my interview. I wish her the best of luck & I mean that genuinely.”
“Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart! I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is really there for her — and who is just using her,” Travis Kelce’s ex concluded.
