Award season is reaching its peak, and we need to make up our minds on who have been the best dressed celebrities in the last few weeks. Actors such as Timothée Chalamet and Michael B. Jordan are two of the best-dressed actors on the red carpet of the Golden Globes, the Critics’ Choice, and most recently, the SAG Awards. Yet, the one who has absolutely slayed every red carpet is, without a doubt, 37-year-old Californian Rami Malek.
Those piercing blue eyes, his high cheekbones, and that breathtaking smile (a result of his Egyptian heritage) have crowned Malek the king of the red carpet. Although he has worn some of the most respected labels in high fashion (Berluti and Givenchy, to mention a couple), Malek has developed a rather deep love affair for one fashion house in specific: Dior. No wonder he was picked in 2017 to be one of the faces for Dior Homme, along with rapper A$AP Rocky and music legend Boy George.

Since 2016, when he got an Emmy for his performance on Mr. Robot, Malek has been killing the red carpet with his charm, poise, and down-to-earth vibe in expensive suits. The Golden Globe winner for Best Actor in a Leading Role (fun fact: he went to high school with Kirsten Dunst) has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), earning him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Malek’s style over the last couple of years, whether on the red carpet, walking around NYC, or attending Fashion Week, could be defined as casual and neat. His slim cut, tailored suits give a sense of elegance, but also keep it casual, as if he didn’t want to compromise his coolness. His looks on covers such as Vanity Fair prove that less is always more: a single color suit with a shirt of the same color and fabric and no tie is a look that can be pulled off and make you look classy and effortless. Other outfits like the one for his Attitude issue show that a pair of jeans and a sleeveless t-shirt are the perfect rock star look.
