Vivian Wilson, the 20-year-old transgender daughter of billionaire Elon Musk, is making headlines for her scathing criticism of her father’s alleged use of sex-selective in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive his children. In a series of explosive posts on Threads, Vivian accused Musk of treating her assigned sex at birth as a “commodity” and questioned the legality of the practice.
“My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for,” Vivian wrote on Monday. “So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was sold.”
The young woman, who came out as transgender in 2022, didn’t hold back, emphasizing the emotional toll of growing up under the weight of her father’s alleged expectations.
“That expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION,” she added.
In a follow-up post, Vivian bluntly asked, “How the f–k is this legal?”

Vivian’s relationship with her father has been strained for years. In June 2022, she filed a request to change her first name and take her mother Justine Wilson’s last name, citing her “gender identity” and her desire to sever ties with her father.
“I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form,” the filing stated.
But the drama didn’t end there. In 2024, Musk, 53, claimed in an interview with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson that he had been “tricked” into allowing Vivian’s medical gender reassignment.

Musk, who shares 14 children with four women, claimed he “lost” his child to what he called the “woke-mind virus.”
“They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason,” he said. “The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead. My son Xavier is dead — killed by the woke-mind virus.”
Vivian, however, wasn’t having it. She clapped back on social media, writing, “I look pretty good for a dead bitch.” She also clarified that she had “disowned” Musk, “not the other way around,” and accused him of being “a serial adulterer who won’t stop f–king lying” about his own children.
