If there’s one thing turning 40 teaches you, it’s that you’ve earned the right to celebrate however you want — and if that means throwing a pastel-colored pool party with life-sized Care Bears, so be it. Khloé Kardashian just proved that age is nothing but a number (especially when there are rainbow bears involved).

The Kardashians star belatedly celebrated her 41st birthday over the weekend with a Care Bears–themed bash, sharing all the dreamy, nostalgia-filled moments on Instagram. Khloé, who turned 41 on June 27 while in Venice for the glamorous wedding of Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos, made up for lost time with her “favorite kind of party” surrounded by her closest people.

Photos from the event showed Khloé posing with her children, True, 7, and Tatum, 2, alongside two mascot-style Care Bears, plus her sisters Kim Kardashian, 44, and Kourtney Kardashian Barker, 46, and their mom, Kris Jenner, 69. “My favorite kind of party with all my favorite people. Kris Jenner, ever the doting mom, chimed in on the throwback theme: “Love a good Care Bear party!!! This really takes me back. I think I had one of these for you 35 years ago.”

For the occasion, Khloé fully embraced the nostalgic vibes, wearing a pink-and-white Care Bears tee with matching cycling shorts and fluffy sliders. Kim kept things minimal in a black bralette and leggings, while Kourtney paired an oversized striped shirt with a mini skirt and chunky boots.

The party décor was straight out of a 1980s Saturday morning cartoon dream, featuring pastel balloon arches, giant Care Bear figurines, and hot pink poolside balloons spelling out “Happy Birthday Mommy.” True, Tatum, and their cousin Dream, 8, even posed for adorable selfies in the pool, gifting mini plush Care Bears to the costumed characters.

Khloé’s cake — an elaborate creation topped with colorful icing roses and a heart reading “Happy Birthday Mommy” — sealed the theme.

Her actual birthday in Venice may have been spent shopping and attending Bezos and Sánchez’s star-studded wedding with Kim, Kris, Kylie, and Kendall Jenner, but this Care Bear celebration feels like the real Khloé energy: unapologetic, fun, and filled with heart-shaped sprinkles.
