Who Is Adam Hicks?
Adam Paul Nielson Hicks is an American actor and rapper who was born on November 28, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is mainly known for his roles in films such as How to Eat Fried Worms, Lemonade Mouth, and Zeke and Luther.
Hicks’ acting career began at a young age when he appeared in commercials and television shows. He landed his first major role in 2006 when he was cast as Moose Finbar in the Nickelodeon film How to Eat Fried Worms. He went on to star in the Disney XD series Zeke and Luther from 2009 to 2012. The show focused on the adventures of two best friends trying to become skateboard legends. He also appeared in the Disney Channel film Lemonade Mouth in 2011.
In addition to acting, Adam Hicks pursued a music career. He was part of the Disney Channel Original Movie “Lemonade Mouth” (2011), in which he played the character Wen Gifford and contributed to the film’s soundtrack. Hicks is also a rapper. He released his debut album, We Burnin’ Up, in 2011.
Adam Hicks’ History of Crime
Sadly, just as his popularity was rising, so did his ambition and wrecked behavior. Hicks has a very well-known history of violence. In 2014, he shot himself in the leg while hanging out with friends. He was also accused of being verbally and physically abusive to Danni Tamburro, his girlfriend.
Adam Hicks was arrested on January 25, 2018, in Burbank, California, along with his reported girlfriend, actress Danni Tamburro, on suspicion of armed robbery. He was accused of robbing and attempting to rob several victims with Tamburro in the Burbank area.
Hicks was initially charged with five counts: two for robbery and three for attempted robbery. However, two of the attempted robbery counts were dismissed. In July 2021, Hicks was found guilty of robbery and was sentenced to serve five years in state prison. Hicks was released on parole in March 2022.
Since his release from prison, Hicks has kept a relatively low profile. He has appeared in a few minor roles and has been working on music. In 2023, he announced that he was working on a new album.
