Amber became one of the most controversial before and after the trial with Johnny Depp and all the violence within their marriage. Ezra has committed crimes for which, according to the law, he should be in jail, but he’s not.
Because of their ‘affairs,’ both actors were written off by many of their fans; they lost job opportunities, but at the same time, they got second chances; the difference is that Heard was much more judged than Miller. I mean she went pretty much on exile! So, why?!
Why Is It Easier to Judge Amber Heard Than Ezra Miller?
Both actors are trying to move on with their lives; Amber was confirmed for the second part of Aquaman and Ezra is still starring in The Flash. However, many users showed their discontent when it was announced the actress would be returning to the movie; but with him, it doesn’t seem to be a problem at all.
It’s strong to say it, but you should know. It’s textbook misogyny. We’re not going to justify the behavior of either of them; however, why does Amber is criticized more than Ezra? It’s so much easier to judge a woman; if we do something wrong, we easily earn the hatred of the world. But when a man makes a mistake, no matter how big, it’s easy to forget and continue to admire him as if it’s a source of pride.
Men are not singled out like we are. And the case of Amber and Ezra is a clear example; both situations were serious; however, the actor should be paying for his crimes of harassment and disturbing the public order. Remember that the actor hanged a woman and has had serious problems with aggression? Probably not…
By this, we are not saying that Amber’s mistakes should be forgotten, we mean that the public opinion should be even. That is, just as many are writing off the actress, it should be the same with the actor. But while Heard gets nothing but hate, Ezra gets nothing but applause, praise, and admiration.
Why is it easier to judge Amber Heard than Ezra Miller? Because we are still in such a sexist and misogynistic society that we see men as superheroes even if they are the worst villains.
