Can exes become friends or are things not over yet? Apparently, this is the conundrum that Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny are facing at the moment as it has been reported that the former couple had a cool vacation together to celebrate New Year.
According to sources in contact with TMZ, Benito and Kendall reunited amid the breakup and joined a selected group of friends for a New Year’s vacation near Barbados. Among the A-list guests were Kendall’s besties Hailey and Justin Bieber.
Although none of them posted anything suggesting they were together after only a few weeks of their unofficial breakup announcement, fans rapidly cracked up the mystery thanks to an Instagram story posted by one of Kendall’s friends Renell Medrano.
Medrano posted a cute video of the fireworks cracking, and a very distinctive voice can be heard saying “¡Feliz Año Nuevo!” (Happy New Year in Spanish). Said voice is Bad Bunny’s! So are they giving love a second chance? Medrano had previously outed the couple in the early stages of their relationship with a TikTok video.
Are Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner Back Together?
Although the paradisiac destination and the festivity could be seen as the perfect setting to rekindle love, insiders claim that they are not back together and nothing is going on between them other than friendship.
Just this past December, another insider confirmed that the strange couple had broken up. This came after several rumors claiming they were no longer together since Kendall had been seen in public many times by herself. The last time they had been seen together was in October.
Not only that, the insider also revealed that Kendall and Benito were well aware since the beginning that “they wouldn’t be a forever type of relationship.” They added that no one was really surprised about the breakup.
Maybe romance isn’t in Kendall and Benito’s cards this year, but perhaps a great friendship is blossoming between them. Moreover, fans of Bad Bunny claim that he lost some of his mojo from this relationship and hope he goes back to his funny true self.
