This sparked an ongoing conversation as it is well known that Affleck and Damon grew up together and became best friends since they were 8 and 10 years old. They’ve also worked together on several projects, including School Ties, The Battle of Shaker Heights and Field of Dreams and now, ‘Unstoppable’ the biopic of wrestler Anthony Robles.
This film was produced under Affleck and Damon’s production company Artists Equity, and in it, JLo portrays Robles’ mother Judy Robles.
Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon Were Holding Hands While Having a ‘Long, Deep Conversation’

An eyewitness revealed to People that Lopez and Damon spent over 20 minutes in conversation, a dialogue that reportedly began when Lopez joined Damon, his wife Luciana, and actor Don Cheadle at an outdoor table. “Jen and Matt started talking and had a long, deep conversation,” said the source. “They were very engaged, sharing both laughter and serious moments. At times, they held hands while talking.”

The exchange between Lopez and Damon stands out in light of the notable absence of Ben Affleck, 52, from the TIFF premiere. Affleck’s choice to skip the event underscores the current tensions surrounding his public split with Lopez. According to reports, Affleck’s absence was a strategic move to avoid a potentially uncomfortable encounter with Lopez, who was actively participating in the film’s promotion.

In the days following the premiere, Affleck was spotted having dinner with Damon, Luciana, and their daughters at the renowned Italian restaurant Toscana in Los Angeles. Despite the ongoing personal turmoil, Affleck appeared in good spirits, reinforcing his continued support for his friend Damon and the project they worked on together.
Some people noted that this is a tricky move from JLo to make Ben Affleck mad, while others agree that they were simply talking and they are completely entitled to remain as friends. What do you think?
