Sources close to the couple revealed to DailyMail.com that the pair, who tied the knot in a high-profile wedding last year, are moving forward with their divorce after a last-ditch attempt at reconciliation failed. “The divorce papers are finalized but haven’t been filed yet,” one insider shared.

The split comes amidst a flurry of real estate activity. Just days before the announcement, the couple listed their Beverly Hills mansion for a whopping $68 million.
On July 24, the same day Lopez finalized the sale of her four-bedroom New York City penthouse for $23 million, the couple’s fractured relationship became more apparent. “They finalized the divorce papers a month ago but are waiting for the right moment to make it official,” another source told DailyMail.com.
Also, PageSix and People spotted Ben Affleck sporting a drastically new haircut, sparking the rumors that it’s a “breakup haircut.” The actor was seen over the weekend with his new look, paired with a Red Hot Chili Peppers t-shirt and a leather jacket, a look far removed from his usual style.
The couple’s separation became noticeable in May when reports surfaced that Ben Affleck had moved into a $100,000 rental, just a short drive from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s Brentwood home.
“Ben already moved out, and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for,” a source told In Touch at the time. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, who were married from 2005 to 2018, share three children: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
