King Charles could have “easily” found time to see Prince Harry while he’s in London, according to well-placed sources.
Prince Harry, 39, has landed in London on Tuesday, May 7th to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, the sports event he founded for wounded military personnel.
At 75 years old, his father, King Charles, is undergoing cancer treatment, and Harry has only been able to see him once since his illness was made public in early February.
Although there had been press speculation that the pair would meet up again on his latest trip, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex has said the King is too busy to see his son.
“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme,” said the spokesperson.
“The duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
But this is not the only rumor going around about the family’s communication. According to Page Six, Harry and his brother, William, have not spoken for over a year.
When asked about if William would join the event, a royal source said: “William is a hop, skip and a jump from the throne, with an ill wife and three young children — he has plenty on his plate.”
