Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker released the first photos of their first child together, Rocky, and it’s sure to be the cutest thing you’ll see in a long time.
Seven weeks away from the birth of their baby boy, the couple introduced him to the world with a couple of images on social media with the description of his name and a black heart emoji: “ROCKY.” In these, the couple appears holding their son, who was born on November 4, in a variety of ways, showing the great love and happiness they feel with his arrival.
In one, Kourtney is breastfeeding him, and in another, Travis is holding him while kissing him. “She’s happy to be able to hold her baby now (…) She feels very blessed,” a source told People magazine.
A Complicated Pregnancy…
Let’s remember that the couple welcomed Rocky after a risky process during pregnancy, where she had to undergo fetal surgery to save her baby. And not to mention Travis, who from day one, accompanied her, even canceled some concerts of his tour with Blink-182 to be with her.
“I will be forever grateful to my amazing doctors for saving our baby’s life,” Kourtney tweeted on September 6 after the fetal surgery. “I am eternally grateful to my husband who ran alongside me during the tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterward,” she wrote with a special dedication to her husband.
She noted in that post that she was very worried, as her previous three pregnancies were “calmer,” so now, more than ever, she has “a whole new understanding and respect for mums who have had to fight for their babies during pregnancy.”
The eldest of the Kardashian clan later described the procedure as “terrifying” in an interview with Vogue. Fortunately, today, they can enjoy this moment and share it with the people they love the most.
