Although Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have one of the best relationships of the year within the industry, the football player has admitted that he has no idea how he started dating Tay, because ‘She’s not into sports’.
On the latest episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast, Travis went back to the days when he was courting Taylor, and said that he doesn’t know how they started dating if the singer wasn’t into sports… it seems like they didn’t have anything in common, but it appears that it was a destined romance because all they’ve done so far is show love and sweetness wherever they go.
During the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, Lil Dicky, who was a guest on the podcast episode, mentioned that Kaylor’s romance is “the best thing ever,”
Then added “I think there’s just something that makes everyone feel like the world is like high school, where your most popular pop star beloved musician somehow met your most popular beloved athlete and they actually fell in love and it’s just real. Anyone who hates on it is a bitter loser.”
“I appreciate it, man,” Travis responded, before going on to admit with a laugh, “I don’t know how I did it because she wasn’t into sports, so I don’t know how the f— I did it.”
Then Lil responded to Travis that he managed to date the singer because he “called her out on” to which Travis responded with a laugh saying he did know exactly how he did it.
How Did the Romance Between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Start?
Romance rumors began when Taylor attended some of TK’s games, then on The Pat McAfee Show podcast, the player revealed that he had invited Swift to the games after seeing her at one of her Eras Tour concerts. It was even said that TK had sent Tay a friendship bracelet with his number.
They later confirmed their romance when they were seen holding hands in October 2023 at a Saturday Night Live afterparty in New York City. Since then, they have been seen together at many public appearances and supporting each other at various events such as the Super Bowl and some of the singer’s concerts as part of her world tour.
