Hercules is one of our favorite Disney movies and, let’s face it, one of the best of the production house. Disney keeps betting on its live-action productions, and Hercules is one of the next ones, a situation that has given us a lot to talk about on social networks, as we all hope they won’t disappoint us this time.
While the Hercules live-action is still in pre-production, we already have possible candidates for the main characters, and we love them!
The Hercules Live-Action Would Already Have Its Main Cast
According to insider DanielRPK’s Patreon, Disney already has its possible stars for the Hercules live-action and is in talks with each of the celebrities to close the deal. Danny DeVito would play Phil, Hercules’ loyal trainer; the actor has an extensive career in the world of cinema; besides, he was in charge of dubbing the same character in the 1997 animated version.
Ariana Grande could play Megara, the love interest of the Greek god; the singer would leave music to, once again, make her way in the world of acting, playing one of the most beloved characters in the history of Hercules and also of all Disney, thanks to her intelligence and strength.
Taron Egerton would be in charge of playing the mighty Hercules, the son of Zeus; the actor has stood out in the cinema for playing Elton John in his biographical film Rocketman and Henk Rogers in Tetris, among other films.
Users have already started to react to these rumors, and some consider that this would be a first-class cast; although others have proposed different actors for the role of Hercules, such as Henry Cavill, Ricky Martin (who gave his voice in Spanish for the animated movie), and Jacob Elordi, among others.
As we already told you, these are only rumors, these are the celebrities that Disney would like for the live-action of the 1997 film, we still need to get the talent to accept, and then for the filming to begin.
So far, we have no release date for the live-action of Hercules, remember that this version was confirmed at the end of 2022, although there are probabilities that we will have news in the coming months.
In the meantime, we will have to survive with possible bets and hope that Hercules meets all the expectations of the fans of the film.
