After 36 years, the first official trailer for the new Beetlejuice movie was finally revealed today, a film that will once again be directed by the great director Tim Burton.
As soon as the trailer was released, a combination of nostalgia and excitement took over all the fans, as we were able to see all the characters that stole our hearts in the 1988 film.
The trailer, just over a minute long, shows the Deetz family, played by Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, and Jenna Ortega, who joins the franchise as Lydia’s daughter, attending a funeral.
After that, back at home with the family, Beetlejuice is somehow summoned, returning from beyond for a new adventure, the details of which are still unknown.
The best part was seeing Michael Keaton once again in the classic Beetlejuice striped suit, proving that no matter how many years go by, some things never change.
When will Beetlejuice 2 be released?
According to the information revealed today, Beetlejuice 2 will hit theaters before the end of 2024.
The chosen release date is September 6, 2024, a few weeks before Halloween.
The official title of the film will be “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice,” and although few details of the plot have been revealed, we are sure that we will leave the theater happy and full of nostalgia.
