As the hours go by, images of the devastation caused by Hurricane Otis in Acapulco, Mexico are beginning to be released. Because for the moment there is no communication in the entire disaster area, the videos and photos that have been released are through social networks and show the disaster that is being experienced in the paradisiacal port of Acapulco.
Already in the early morning, images began to circulate of the moments of panic that guests of the hotels in the area were experiencing, because due to the intense gust of wind, which reached more than 270 kilometers per hour, windows and ceilings of the rooms and corridors began to break.
In some cases, it was necessary to take shelter in the bathroom or even leave the room and try to save themselves in the stairways or the hotel lounges. But what came in the morning was totally devastating.

Hurricane Otis Devastated the Port of Acapulco
In addition to the hotels, the area along the Miguel Aleman coastline also suffered from Hurricane Otis, and a tour shows all the stores and restaurants that are there with their facades destroyed and the surrounding areas with fallen palm trees and signs.
Some malls were also destroyed, as well as some stores and even gas stations. It has also been reported that the areas where there are apartment buildings also suffered considerable damage, both in their structure and in the surrounding streets, as there are also fallen trees, as well as poles and signs.
So far, no figures are known for damages, people affected, and if there were any deaths. Only in the morning, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador indicated that a security group was heading to Acapulco to verify the state of the port, but on this occasion, the images say more than a thousand words.
