Trump buys tesla hitler - something about trump buying a tesla feels uncannily familiar—and in a really dark way

They say history exists to teach us lessons so we don’t repeat the past. Perhaps that’s something Elon Musk and Donald Trump should keep in mind.

Donald Trump Buying a Tesla is Making Everyone Think About Hitler Again

Donald Trump, made waves by purchasing a red Tesla Model S. The car was personally delivered by Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, at the White House—a move that quickly became a trending topic.

Tesla has been facing financial turbulence, with a significant drop in stock value causing concern for investors. Trump’s decision to buy the Tesla was widely interpreted as a gesture of support for Musk, especially considering the CEO’s role as the leader of the Department of Government Efficiency under Trump’s administration.

Some saw it as a simple act of encouragement for American innovation, but others questioned the ethics of a sitting president making such a high-profile purchase from a business leader so closely tied to his government.

A Disturbing Historical Parallel: Hitler and the Volkswagen Beetle

While this move might seem like just another headline-grabbing moment, some internet users were quick to point out an eerie historical comparison. In 1938, Adolf Hitler played a crucial role in promoting the Volkswagen Beetle, a car designed by Ferdinand Porsche.

The Beetle was positioned as the “people’s car,” part of a Nazi propaganda campaign to offer affordable transportation for German families. Hitler himself laid the cornerstone for the Volkswagen factory, tying the success of the car directly to his regime’s image and ideology. While this wasn’t about assisting a single struggling businessman, it was a calculated move that reinforced his power and influence over both industry and the public.

To be clear, there is no concrete evidence suggesting that Trump purchased the Tesla with this historical moment in mind. It could simply be a coincidence, another headline in a long list of unconventional decisions by the former president. But history has a strange way of repeating itself—and the internet never forgets.
