One of the biggest attractions in Tuscany, Italy is located in the southernmost region of the Maremma, it’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in Italy, receiving thousands of visitors who come looking for its medicinal sulphur-rich waters. The water flows down from the Monte Amiata river, which is about 1 kilometer long and comes from a volcano that became dormant a long time ago.
If you’re planning to travel here, you should come in spring or fall, when the beauty of the landscape is at its most glorious. If you’d rather not go when it’s too crowded, you can go in the winter since the thermal waters will feel great in the cold.
The temperature of these sulphur-rich springs is around 37.5º C.
If you love to see new places, now you can add the delicious waters of the Saturnia Hot Springs to your travel wishlist.
