Rosalía is debuting with the song ‘Tuya,’ and there is nothing this woman doesn’t do well. The Catalonian singer has positioned herself as one of the most successful female artists of recent times, and it is no secret that she has won millions of hearts, not only from fans but also from fellow musicians.
With the release of ‘Tuya,’ theories have already arisen about whether the lyrics have a special dedication… but not exactly to Rauw Alejandro, but to an ex from the past.

The Theory That Claims Rosalía’s ‘Tuya’ is About Hunter Schafer
Users on Twitter exposed the theory that Rosalía‘s ‘Tuya’ could talk about a lesbian romance, not a random one, but one from the singer’s own experience. Before Rosalía found love with Rauw Alejandro, rumors arose that she was in a relationship with model and Euphoria star Hunter Schafer.
Within the first minutes of the announcement of the song, a user named Sin Altura exposed that the lyrics are dedicated 100 percent to the model, since, she assures, it is addressed to the female gender.
“Only tonight I’m yours, yours /Only tonight you’re mine, mine…” is heard in the song. According to the netizen, both celebrities were seen together several times in 2019, there is even a video in which the singer realizes that she was being recorded, makes an obscene sign for the camera, and then melts into an embrace with Hunter.
This last event was related to a recent video that the singer shared on her Instagram account, in which we can see that she makes the same sign to the camera with ‘Tuya’ in the background. Which could be a reference. The user claims that the song narrates an alleged encounter between Rosalía and Hunter shortly before she met Rauw at the 2019 Latin Grammys, just the moment when both musicians were crushed.
“Son of a lucky motherf*cker because you found me,” would be the phrase that would refer to her already fiancé. Even, in the song ‘Dejau’ by Rauw, the reggaetonero sings: “I have a new cat (yes) that is bi…” Finally, the Twitter user claims that Rosalía and Hunter maintained something more than a friendship years later, because of the phrase “Kissing friends are the best company” in the song ‘Linda’ released in 2021 in collaboration with Tokischa, just the same month in which they were seen together at the MET Gala.
It should be stressed that this is only a theory that, in fact, has been widely supported by the singer’s fans; however, Rosalía has not clarified any of the rumors.
