According to scientific research, Robert Pattinson is the world’s most handsome man. The 35-year-old British actor obtained a 92.15% score for his striking facial features and proportions obtained in a project conducted by Doctor Julian De Silva.
This doctor based his project on concepts related to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, a mathematical equation developed by the Ancient Greeks. They used it to measure beauty, while Renaissance artists used it to create their works of art.
“He was in the top five for nearly all the categories because he has such classically shaped features and a wonderful chiselled jaw. His only score below average was for his lips which are a little thin and flat.”
Pattinson was not the only celebrity whose face was analyzed as part of this project: Henry Cavill came in second place with a score of 91.64%. Bradley Cooper came in third with 91.08% and George Clooney, with 89.91%.
The study was carried out with the help of digital mapping, which allowed the experts to determine which celebrity was closer to 100%.
This method has allowed surgeons to solve beauty’s mysteries, and also to plan their patients’ plastic surgery procedures.
Thanks to this mathematical equation, we can confirm something we have always known: that Robert Pattinson is not just talented, but also a beautiful human being.
