Britney revealed in her memoir, The Woman in Me, that the actor sent her a text message to end their relationship. Can we agree he’s crowned himself as “the biggest jerk!?”
Britney confessed that after reading Justin’s words, she was “devastated;” so much so, that she considered quitting the music world, despite all she had accomplished. “I was in a coma in Louisiana and he was happily running around Hollywood,” explains the celebrity in her book.
Justin Timberlake Blamed Her for the Breakup
Most believed that she had been the “villain” of the story, but that was only because no one knew her side of the story, and the media even labeled her as the “slut who broke the heart of America’s golden boy.”
And even though Justin Timberlake knew everything that had happened, he insinuated in the “Cry Me a River” music video that it all ended because she had cheated on him. She doesn’t paint herself as the “best girlfriend,” she also admitted that she was unfaithful with dancer and choreographer Wade Robson during a night of drinking.
“We went out one night and went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night,” she recounts in her memoir. Sadly, Justin did too, and we’re not saying this is right or wrong, just that for a long time, they only criticized Britney, not knowing that the two betrayed each other.
However, the singer did everything not to tarnish his “good boy” image and continued to fuel rumors that her infidelity would have been the reason for the breakup of their three-year relationship. “He got what he wanted. Personally, I think it seems like a desperate attempt (…) But that was a great way to sell the album,” Britney once said in an interview for Rolling Stone magazine.

Britney Aborted Justin Timberlake’s Baby
In addition to the cruel way of ending it and then pretending nothing happened, the “Toxic” performer confessed that she got pregnant by him when she was 19 years old, but aborted it because “he didn’t want to be a father.”
“I loved Justin very much. I always hoped that someday we would have a family. But it was going to be much sooner than planned (…) Justin was definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young,” Britney Spears details in her book.
The situation, Britney describes as one of the “worst moments of her life,” and noted in her writings, that she currently regrets making that decision just to please the man she loved so much. “I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been solely up to me, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure he didn’t want to be a father,” she added.
