Taylor Swift‘s world tour arrived in Brazil where things did not go well, as the high temperatures caused the death of one of her fans and the cancellation of her second concert in that country. The heat wave not only affected the singer’s thousands of fans in Rio de Janeiro but also her since during her first performance, Taylor was on the verge of fainting on stage.
A video was spread through social networks in which Swift can be seen having difficulty breathing and trying to recover, which caused alarm among her followers. Furthermore, in another video clip, you can see the artist bathed in sweat, with extremely red skin, and gasping for air after performing one of the numbers from her show.
According to several media outlets, the heat in the venue where Taylor performed on November 17 reached 60 degrees, making it almost impossible for the concert to occur normally. All of the above led the artist to cancel her second presentation in Brazil to avoid risking the lives of her fans and her work team.
In an Instagram story, the singer explained:
“I write this from my dressing room at the stadium. The decision has been made to postpone tonight’s concert due to the extreme temperatures in Rio. “The safety and well-being of my fans, my teammates, and the team always have to come first.”

“I can’t express how devastated I am by this. I have very little information other than the fact that she was incredibly beautiful and too young,” Taylor wrote.
The young woman was identified as Ana Benevides, 23 years old. She was a Psychology student at the Federal University of Rondonópolis. The young woman began to experience severe discomfort and had to be taken to a hospital. Unfortunately, she arrived lifeless and doctors confirmed that she died due to cardiorespiratory arrest.
