The actress Chloe Cherry, who debuted in the second season of Euphoria, has raised doubts about the possibility of the popular HBO series returning for its 3rd season.
The actress revealed that she honestly hasn’t heard anything from producers about restarting production, reigniting fans’ fears that the series will be canceled for good. Cherry’s statements come a month after Zendaya reassured the show’s followers.
In early April, HBO and executives reported that production on the third season was on pause due to the busy schedules of its stars: Sydney Sweeney, Zendaya and Maude Apatow.

However, sources close to the network say that the real reason behind the delay of the new season is due to the frustration of the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, with HBO’s request that he complete the scripts in their entirety before deciding whether or not they gave the green light to production.
The source also added that past strikes in Hollywood affected the production of the third season, since executives are dragging their feet once the industry strikes ended; demanding that the scripts be completed in order to read it, which frustrated Sam.
According to DailyMail, the decision to read the scripts for the 3rd season is a response to Sam’s The Idol, which wasn’t well received by the public and was canceled after receiving terrible reviews after its first season.

Chloe Wants To Be Back
Chloe Cherry expressed her desire to return to the third season. “ I would definitely come back,” she said, although she also stated: “But they just leave me in the dark, let’s say it.”
According to Variety, the network promised to inform the cast by October 1 when, or if, they plan to start filming again.
