The family of WWE legend Sid Eudy announced a few hours ago that the former wrestler has passed away after years of battling cancer.

Eudy’s son Gunnar confirmed the events posting an statement on social media:
‘Dear friends and family, I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss. Details for a memorial service will be shared soon. Thank you for your support.’

Also known as ‘Sid Vicious’ and ‘Sid Justice,’ Eudy competed in the WWF (now known as the WWE).
Many of his fans have offered their condolences and wished Sid a rest in peace after his physical and emotional battles.

Sid Vicious held world championships in both WWE and WCW. His imposing presence and agility made him stand out as more than just a typical big man in the ring.
Fans fondly remember his feud with Shawn Michaels in the mid-1990s.
Sid wrestled his last match in 2017, defeating Paul Rosenberg at the GNW 10th Anniversary Supershow.
