Today’s thing is to imagine what certain movies would look like if another director had created them, especially if said filmmakers have a unique aesthetic and visuals. Today it’s the turn of the popular Avatar saga, which was originally directed by James Cameron. Taking aside the lame story, he did a great job in creating this world; however, fans have been wondering what it would have looked like if it had been directed by the popular Wes Anderson.

Titled The Peculiar Pandora Expedition, the AI-generated video is presented as a trailer that looks like an epic sci-fi film in the unique style of Anderson. In the two-minute-long trailer, Avatar characters can be seen with Wes Anderson’s signature perspective defined by extravagant colors and a competition of highly aesthetic scenes.

The Na’vi are also played by artificial intelligence versions of Anderson’s close collaborators Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Owen Wilson. It’s also interesting that the menacing suit that the military used to wear but now with a mechanic that even looks cute.
