Adele Confronts Fan Mid-Concert After Homophobic Comment

About 4,296 fans gathered at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace to hear Adele sing some of her most famous songs live.

During one of the special concerts in Las Vegas as part of her ‘Weekends with Adele’ tour, the singer took a few minutes to defend the LGBTQ+ community from homophobic comments.

This is not the first time this has happened; on several occasions, she has publicly shown her support for the community, and fans applaud these gestures.

What happened at Adele’s concert?

While the singer was performing some of her most famous songs, she heard one of the attendees shout ‘proud sucks,’ referring to gay pride.

This situation did not sit well with the ‘Easy on Me’ singer, who did not hesitate for a second to stop her show to confront the situation.

‘You come to my concert and say ‘pride sucks’? Are you stupid? Don’t be ridiculous. If you have nothing kind to say, shut up, okay?’, the British singer said into the microphone.

Within seconds, the rest of the fans showed their approval of the singer’s stance with applause and cheers of support.

She has never missed an opportunity to show her support for the community. During a performance, she said, ‘The LGBTQ+ community has been like my soulmate since I was very young, it makes me feel very proud.’

On another occasion, she incorporated the colors of the community’s flag into one of the dresses she wore in a show.

The famous singer’s reaction during the concert is praised and recognized on social media, although there are now those who argue that what the fan expressed was ‘work sucks’ and that the singer misheard.

Although there is no way to verify what the fan shouted, we know that our favorite part, and that of many others, was seeing Adele defending the LGBTQ+ community as she always has.
