Emergency medical personnel arrived swiftly, with paramedics and doctors working urgently to revive him. Pacino recalled the surreal scene, describing the medical professionals in protective gear that looked like “they were from outer space or something.” Fortunately, their efforts were successful, and Pacino was brought back from the brink of death.

Reflecting on the experience, Pacino shared that he did not have any metaphysical or out-of-body experiences during the time he was without a pulse.

“I didn’t see the white light or anything. There’s nothing there,” he said, quoting Shakespeare’s Hamlet to express his thoughts on the finality of death.
