Amber Heard is embracing a fresh start, and it looks like her journey is filled with happiness, growth, and family.
The Aquaman star, now 38, is expecting her second child, three years after welcoming her daughter Oonagh Paige. A spokesperson for Heard shared, “It’s still quite early in the pregnancy, so we won’t go into much detail, but Amber is delighted for herself and Oonagh.”

Oonagh Paige, now 3½, has been the center of Amber Heard’s world since her arrival in April 2021. When Heard announced Oonagh’s birth months later, she opened up about her choice to become a mother on her own terms. “I decided I wanted to have a child four years ago,” she wrote, adding, “I hope we arrive at a point where it’s normalized to not need a ring in order to have a crib.”

It’s not easy to forget Amber Heard’s high-profile defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp in 2022 brought intense public scrutiny, but she has since made a conscious decision to focus on family and healing. After the trial, she relocated to Madrid, Spain, where she has been rebuilding her life away from the limelight.
“The trial was beyond stressful, and she wanted to start fresh,” a source shared at the time. Heard herself mentioned in a 2022 interview that she was looking forward to being a full-time mom, saying, “I get to be a mom without having to juggle calls with lawyers.”
Heard’s director on In the Fire, Conor Allyn, revealed that she’s “living her best life in Spain with her daughter” and praised her as a dedicated mother who always finds time for Oonagh. During filming in 2022, Heard even brought Oonagh along to Italy.
Allyn also noted that while she’s moved on from the legal ordeal, “people carry trauma for a long time.” Adding to the scars, the actress is constantly being asked about Johny Depp, but she insists she doesn’t want to talk about the past, as she enjoys her life in Spain with her daughter.
