Controversial influencer Andrew Tate is being heavily investigated by Romanian authorities as his house has already been raided
Tate is facing trial for human trafficking and sexual abuse, crimes in which minors have been involved.
Andrew Tate’s Home in Romania Raided By Authorities
Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, is conducting searches at four locations in Bucharest and Ilfov county as part of an investigation into allegations of human trafficking, trafficking of minors, sexual relations with a minor, tampering with statements, and money laundering.
The agency also announced that hearings will be held later at its headquarters.

However, Mateea Petrescu, Andrew Tate’s spokesperson, said that although the charges the influencer faces have not been fully clarified, human trafficking and money laundering are some of the suspicions raised by the Romanian police, and she also mentioned that the legal team was always present during the raid process.
“During the entire criminal process, the investigated persons benefit from the procedural rights and guarantees provided by the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as the presumption of innocence,” DIICOT noted in its statement.
A few years ago, Andrew was known for his misogynistic statements on social media and had millions of followers, but that all came to an end when he and his brother Tristan were arrested near Bucharest in 2022.
To no one’s surprise, Andrew Tate has denied all the accusations from the start and has even stated that it is all a conspiracy against him in order to silence him.

After the Tate brothers were arrested in 2022, they spent three months in police detention before being placed under house arrest. Initially, their movements were limited to Bucharest and Ilfov counties, but those restrictions were later extended to all of Romania.
Last month, a court reversed an earlier ruling that permitted the Tate brothers to leave Romania while awaiting trial. The previous decision, made on July 5, allowed them to travel within the 27-member European Union, but that ruling has now been overturned.
The legal process is ongoing, and further developments are expected as the investigation continues.
