Why Bruno Mars Canceled His Concert in Israel

Amid the armed conflict in Israel, Bruno Mars announced the cancellation of his second date in Tel Aviv; the first one took place on October 4 at Hayarkon Park. In this one, the singer was accompanied by other artists such as Margie, Agam Bohbut, and Jasmine Moalem.

“Dear customers, the Bruno Mars concert scheduled for tonight is canceled. All ticket purchases for the show will receive an automatic refund… We stand with the residents of Israel, IDF fighters, and security forces during this difficult time,” wrote Live Nation Israel, the company in charge of organizing the artist’s performance.

“Bruno Mars, we love you too. After yesterday, it looks like there is finally a comprehensive and complete agreement with Israel. Love you! We’ve been to and done many concerts in our lives, but a concert like this looks like Park Hayarkon hasn’t seen in a long, long time,” Live Nation Israel wrote after his first concert.

On October 7, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel was “at war” following the surprise attack on Israel where hundreds of people were killed. “The numbers continue to rise, and with them our sadness. Our prayers are with the families of those kidnapped, killed or wounded by Hamas,” wrote the Israeli Government Press Office.

Is Bruno Mars Still in Israel?

Bruno Mars’ whereabouts remained a mystery until today. The situation caused concern among fans, as, the last heard from him was the cancellation of his performance. However, it’s been announced that the signer managed to evacuate safely although he had to left all his show gear behind.
