Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has made shocking allegations against Brian Peck, a dialogue coach on Nickelodeon’s “All That” and “The Amanda Show,” claiming he was sexually abused by Peck during his time on the network’s shows. Peck was convicted in 2004 on charges related to sexual abuse, including performing a lewd act with a minor and oral copulation. Bell’s revelations will be featured in the upcoming Investigation Discovery series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.”

The allegations stem from Peck’s arrest in 2003 on multiple charges of sexual abuse involving a minor, to which he pleaded no contest the following year. Although the identity of the victims remains undisclosed, Bell is expected to share his story in detail when the docuseries airs later this month.

A teaser clip from “Quiet on Set” previews Bell’s testimony, marking the first time he will publicly discuss the abuse he endured from Peck, who was convicted and sentenced to 16 months in prison, along with registration as a sex offender.

The revelations come amid recent discussions about Peck on the “Pod Meets World” podcast, where “Boy Meets World” cast members Rider Strong and Will Friedle recounted their interactions with Peck during his guest appearances on the show. Friedle recalled how Peck attempted to shift blame onto his victim when confronted with allegations of sexual abuse in 2003. Despite initial support from Strong and Friedle, they later realized the gravity of the situation and withdrew their backing.

“Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” aims to shed light on the toxic work environments prevalent in children’s television during the 1990s and early 2000s, particularly focusing on shows associated with Dan Schneider, the creator of popular Nickelodeon series like “iCarly” and “Zoey 101.” The four-part docuseries, airing on Investigation Discovery, exposes the behind-the-scenes challenges faced by young actors and the need for accountability within the industry.
