The 2025 Emmys not only gave us our favorite film and television stars showing off their best outfits, but we also now know who the winners of the night were—those who took home the golden statue for their outstanding performances and direction on the small screen.
The series with the most nominations included Severance, which led the night with 27 nominations, followed by The Penguin with 24, and The White Lotus with 23. Even though some contenders were considered favorites to win, the night still managed to deliver a few surprises.
The 2025 Emmys Winners

Around 6:09 p.m., the first award of the night was announced for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy, which went to Seth Rogen for his role in The Studio. Amusingly, his speech also carried a comedic tone, as he admitted he hadn’t prepared anything “because I’ve never won anything in my life,” closing by thanking his wife, his mother, and the team behind the show.
