Once again, Heidi Klum has raised the bar with her costume reveal at her 23rd annual Halloween party in NYC and she SLAYED.
This year, she recreated a scene from Steven Spielberg‘s 1982 sci-fi classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, dressed as E.T. in a hat and blonde wig. Klum’s husband, Tom Kaulitz, also joined her, channeling a more classic E.T.

Leading up to the big reveal, Klum teased glimpses of her costume prep on social media showing close-up video on her Instagram.
Klum’s face merges seamlessly into E.T.’s neck, complete with a blinking animatronic head perched above her own, because EXTRA is the perfect word for Halloween’s vocabulary.
Klum’s Halloween costumes have become a cherished Oct. 31 tradition. From a lifelike worm to Princess Fiona from Shrek and Jessica Rabbit, each look is crafted with detailed prosthetics and hours of makeup work. She hinted earlier on Instagram, “You’ll never guess what I have in store this year.”

In a recent interview with People, Klum shared that she had been preparing this costume for months, investing time in moldings, fittings, and prosthetics. “It’s a long process,” she said. “It takes a lot of planning because I want my costumes to be spectacular. And I love doing a special reveal for my fans, especially those who are also passionate about dressing up.”
