There’s not a piece that carries over to the rest of the movie,'” he said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.
He also noted that a major problem is that these scenes are overused and ultimately do not add anything significant to the story. He commented that to a certain extent, they can feel superfluous and could be replaced by a more subtle approach, forcing the viewer to resort to imagination.
“Most of the time, human imagination overrides it. So, it can be a little bit elusive if a TV show or a movie is full of gyrating bodies and you say, ‘Okay, but what does this do for us other than the idea of ‘Oh, naked person, cool’?” the actor said.
Henry Cavill Isn’t the Only Actor Who Hates Intimate Scenes
Interestingly, Henry Cavill has several scenes where he is shown without clothes, just remember his role in The Tudors. To his good fortune, he is not the only celebrity who is against this.
