Last week, the football and music fans rejoiced collectively to the rumors that Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce were reportedly hanging out. Although random, the idea of both huge stars being together is certainly exciting, but are they really?
Travis and his twin brother Jason are quite vocal about their things not only on their own podcast New Heights but also on social media and interviews. Travis even joked with his brother about wanting to meet Taylor during one of her Eras Tour shows and even making friendship bracelets with his phone number to give her to the artist. However, he hasn’t said anything about the dating rumor.
After some days of avoiding the elephant in the room, his brother Jason Kelce finally gave in and spoke about the matter on the WIP Morning Show, Jokingly Jason ‘confirmed‘ that the couple has been spending time together but don’t rejoice yet, there’s a catch!:
“It’s hard to answer because I don’t know a lot about what’s happening with Travis’ love life. But having said that, man, I think they’re doing great, and I think it’s all 100 percent true, and I hope that this thing goes the mile.”
So, where’s the catch?! Apparently, Jason likes to see the world burn because between laughs and some gasps he broke millions of hearts at the same time when he added: “No I’m joking. I don’t even know what’s happening.” He explained that although they’re extremely close, he likes to stay out of his twin’s business and let him be.
So, although he confirmed nothing (thanks for making us cry!), that doesn’t mean Travis and Taylor might be having something. Fans are certain that Taylor has been dropping hints. For instance, they claim that a necklace she wore last week is a hint of her relationship with Travis since it had the player’s birthstone on it.
Who knows… we just want our Tay Tay to be happy and Travis looks like a really nice and funny guy. Plus, we want some new music!
