Kelce’s retirement comes on the heels of the Philadelphia Eagles’ loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round game earlier this year. Despite the defeat, coach Nick Sirianni emphasized Kelce’s significance, stating,

“He’s special, and I love him. He’s one of the most special guys I’ve been around.”

Having spent his entire professional football career with the Philadelphia Eagles, Kelce leaves behind a legacy as a seven-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion. His crowning achievement came in 2018 when he played a pivotal role in securing the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the Eagles.
