Jennifer Aniston is missing her Friends.

During the Variety‘s Actors on Actors series, Jennifer Aniston was asked by Quinta Brunson about the iconic show turning 30 and about her feelings after Mathew Perry‘s sudden death last October.

“Oh God, don’t make me cry!” said Aniston about the New York City based series “but, you’re already crying,” the Abbott Elementary star added before asking Aniston, “Do you want a minute? We don’t have to talk about [it.]”

“It’s happy tears,” said Jennifer Aniston.

Between jokes around Aniston’s age, the show continued peacefully.

“That show premiered when I was five and it continues to be one of the best shows on television”, said Quinta about Friends.

Friends legacy

The iconic comedy show Friends, followed a group of six close friends — Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), David Schwimmer (Ross Geller), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) and Aniston’s Rachel Green — in New York City.

The TV series ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004 and continues to garner new generations of fans decades later.

It was very easy to connect with the characters because they faced the everyday challenges of modern life—work, love, family, purpose—just like us.

One thing that will always remain in our closets is the fashion style of the show: plenty of denim , genderless garments, more formal pieces that we wear to work and our favorite dirty Sunday t-shirt.

Mathew Perry’s death

The costar Mathew Perry’s sudden death at age 54 on Oct. 28, 2023, caught us off guard.

The actor was found dead in his L.A. area home with the coroner determining acute effects of ketamine caused his death.

However,  law enforcement sources recently told us local police and the feds are now investigating the source of the ketamine, trying to find an answer on how the actor, who struggled with addiction for many years, got his hands on it.

After his death, Aniston and the rest of the Friends cast released a statement about Perry’s death:

“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” their message read. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.” “In time we will say more, as and when we are able,” the statement continued at the time. “For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

For now, you can still enjoy one of the most iconic shows on Max.
