The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White has transformed into Bruce Springsteen for a new film about the making of Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska.
While the resemblance is uncanny, fans are particularly amused—and slightly unsettled—by the actor wearing brown contact lenses to complete the look.
Jeremy Allen White’s Recognizable Blue Eyes Are Gone

Known for his intense blue eyes and striking features, White’s beauty has often been called “hypnotizing.” With his chiseled jawline, defined bone structure, and piercing gaze, one feature stands out above the rest: those bright blue eyes.
Seeing him with brown eyes, then, has left fans feeling a bit off-kilter. It’s like seeing a dad without his beard!

About ‘Nebraska’: A New Bruce Springsteen Biopic

In this anticipated biopic, Jeremy Allen White stars as the Boss himself, joined by Succession‘s Jeremy Strong as Jon Landau, Springsteen’s mentor and manager; Paul Walter Hauser, and Odessa Young. Johnny Cannizzaro will play Steven Van Zandt, a member of Springsteen’s band and future Sopranos star.
Set for release in 2025, the film will explore the period when Springsteen recorded Nebraska in isolation, using only a four-track recorder in his bedroom.
This stark, acoustic album tells the stories of raw, gritty characters and has since become a unique part of Springsteen’s legacy. Only years later did the singer openly discuss the transformative time that inspired the album.

“The album’s raw and unfiltered portrayal of life’s struggles and resilience resonates deeply with me,” explained the director in Disney’s statement announcing the project. “Our goal is to capture that spirit, bringing Bruce’s pivotal story to the screen with authenticity and hope.”
Here’s hoping that The Bear star’s contact lenses don’t distract from what’s sure to be an incredible performance!
