We know that Jimmy Kimmel was not one of the best hosts in Oscars history; even Donald Trump commented on social media, to which JK responded live by ridiculing the former president. But someone we can’t doubt is Emma Stone, who was uncomfortable with Kimmel’s speech.
What Did Jimmy Kimmel Say About Emma Stone?
When clips of the Best Picture nominees were played, Jimmy Kimmel made a very unpleasant comment about the movie and Emma by mentioning “Those were all the parts of ‘Poor Things’ we’re allowed to show on TV.” JK doesn’t appreciate art. And to some extent, he’s somewhat right, as the film showed a lot of Emma Stone’s nudity, but if he didn’t understand that it was part of the plot, well, there aren’t many ways to help him.
The audience chuckled a bit, but Emma Stone turned to her husband with a ‘ridiculous’ look on her face, saying something that’s still not very clear, but since we’re all lip readers, what Emma is supposed to have said was “What a prick.” Others think she said “Oh my god,” but the former sounds more coherent.
