Jennifer Lopez, was one of this year’s co-chairs of the Met Gala, but her appearance was not at all well received by the public, who criticized her for a moment that was captured on camera and revealed an unexpected attitude from the singer.
In a video shared on TikTok by USA Today reporter Anika Reed, Lopez was briefly asked about her outfit for the event. When asked who she was wearing, the star only replied “Schiaparelli” as she walked down the red carpet apparently without even looking at the reporter and showing a flat face.

This reaction sparked criticism on social media as many perceived a disrespectful attitude towards the reporter, who also noticed the brief response and pointed it out in the caption of her post.
According to People, the brand’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry, created this Haute Couture suit especially for the Diva of the Bronx as a tribute to the creator of the label, Elsa Schiaparelli, and her obsession with butterflies, the surrealist embodiment of metamorphosis. So maybe Jennifer could have commented on that, right?
Some people made sarcastic comments about the reaction: ‘She’s so humble’ ‘Wow, she is sooo kind!’ While others pointed out this is not the first time Jennifer López has a bad attitude. ‘Not you getting the JLo experience…’ and ‘The up & down stare is crazyyy’…
The pop diva was not only criticized for her attitude, but also for her look.
JLo was also severely criticized for her gown, which was not different from those of past years at the Met Gala. The dress is fully hand-embroidered over 800 hours, with warm silver pearls, rhinestones, and 2 500 000 silver foul bugles and beads.
So it seems that Jennifer Lopez was not the favorite of this year’s most anticipated fashion event.
